Select, plan and developa Project of your choice within the broader perspective of strategic business management. Highlight your role as the Project Manager. The project plan must include all processes and activities in respective process groups /knowledge areas as key framework elements of Project Management.

You are required to use project management tools and techniques, scheduling skills, quality and estimating standards. You will select and assess the business case and provide evidence to show efficient planning of the project.The human and change aspects will also need to be considered which demonstrate quality of management decisions.

You will need to:

 Identify Project concept, scope, aims and objectives and apply appropriate project management tools & techniques for effective and successful implementation of the project and by using appropriate scope, time, quality and cost parameters.

 Appraise key aspects of the project management strategy to the organizational structure and business environment of the organization.

 Recommend a suitable structure and processes for project monitoring and control using relevant Project tools, techniques and graphic representation of data.

 Address organizational aspects like quality, risk management and include financial forecasting, uncertainty & risk analysis.

 Integrate planning with estimating and budgeting, budgetary control and use an appropriate planning, execution, implementation and management strategy.

Project Management Assignment
UAE Red Cross AID Wings

Project Charter (Objective) :-
The objective is to establish and provide the UAE Red Crescent with an Air operations department called (UAE Red Crescent AID Wings) which includes, creating a management structure, acquiring the human resources required for this department, acquiring the Airplanes needed, arrange the training required for the fleets crew and engineers. And the purpose for this department creation is to make the UAE red Crescent a leader Organization and to have the ability of rapid response to crisis in the middle east region and the rest of the world and Cutting the cost for chartered planes in the long term, also not relying completely on the UAE air force to provide Humanitarian service. The outcome of the project is making The UAE Red Crecent able to provide services using the airplanes and helicopters acquired to :-
1- Deliver food and medical equipment (airfreight)
2- Provide Airlift Operations to people in danger
3- Conduct Airdrop operations to provide food and other essential needs.
4- Introduce Air Ambulance service by helicopters. (Not only to remote arias but also to not accessible urban places due to road traffic).

Project Scope
1- Obtaining the approval of the budget to recruit staff ( by the end of April 2016 : 1 month duration

2- Hiring the Management team : Which means the main project objective is to build an Operational flight operations department for the UAE Red crescent , which includes choosing the appropriate organizational structure which is complaint with the UAE GCAA rules and regulations , Applying for a GCAA Air Operator Certificate and assuring the issuance of the required AOC and all other mandatory certifications by the GCAA in accordance with CAAP 8 rules and regulations. ( by the end of July 2016 time duration 3 months )

3- Buying the planes required for the department ( by the end of 2016 )
4- Registering and obtaining required GCAA approvals (by the end of januarye
5- Train the management staff
6- Train the flight crew for normal operations and special Ops (i.e. Air Drops)
7- Launching a flight Volunteering Plan to allow pilots from UAE Airlines to volunteer when needed to reduce the Ops costs
8- Launch of the AID wings Department and Project should be completed March24th 2018
