Grizzly Man review
The link for the movies is:
In Grizzly Man, Werner Herzog explores the world of Timothy Treadwell, who used a vision of nature to forge a path of personal redemption. He transformed himself from a failed actor, headed for an early end from drug and alcohol abuse, to a person with a purpose, a mission in life. His vision did not emerge from nothing, but was grounded in the American cultural mythologies of nature and wilderness, to which he in turn contributed. Use the discussion forum to address Treadwell’s view of nature, its origins (with specific reference to our readings, including Cronon) and the contrasts between his perspective and those of other voices in the film.
