A client has been receiving regular Inspection Reports for his rental property for which your business provides management services. Your reports indicate that the tenants are maintaining the property to satisfactory standards.
The client, who lives interstate, decides to make an inspection (unannounced) of his own to the property. He finds the home in complete shambles. The fences are broken, there are several holes in the windows and the internal inspection reveals the flooring and walls are in urgent need of repair.
The client is irate and demands to know why the most recent property inspection gave the house and tenants a ?clean bill of health?. He threatens to take you to court over the incident.
