Please read carefully below instruction!
-Main instruction
This is class review essay. This essay must provide a pithy summary of the main arguments about an interesting issue in previous weeks’ readings (What I attached), AND provide a thoughtful comment on the merits and defects of those arguments (e.g., do they make sense, or omit to mention certain important facts? Do the facts contradict each other?)
This paper should talk about China’s post-1992 leadership: New rules and new strategies, and Consequences of reform I: Remolding ideology and institutions. Please make your own strong independent argument about above those topics.
This essay must divide introduction, body, and conclusion. Introduction cannot over write (no exceed first page in the paper) and first paragraph keep it short. Moreover, include summary of the entire essay and avoid irrelevant writing! Body part should be focus on main picture, show your strong argument (thesis statement) and several evidences why you think that way. Conclusion also cannot over write (no exceed half page in the paper) and excellent complete a work. Finally, of course this paper should be strong relationship between reading (what I attached) and arguments.
Please read this reading and a class note. I think class note a bit helpful for writing a paper.
